Well, maybe not resolutions. They're goals, but since we're nearing the end of the year I thought I'd call them resolutions. Basically, these are things I'd really like to do in the next 12 months to shake up my routine a bit and make it, well, less routine.
Here they are, in no particular order:
- Try mountain biking
- Do an adventure race (preferably a longer one, 9-10 miles)
- Run a marathon
- Get to yoga at least once a week, if not twice a week
- Do an indoor triathlon
- Run more trails
Like how I slipped that marathon in there, hoping you wouldn't notice or comment about it? :)
Leave a comment and tell me your fitness goals for next year. I'd love to read them.

Did you say marathon??? Do it ... do it ... do it! My physical therapy guy recommended yoga to me last night. I dunno man ... I dunno!
Which marathon are you thinking about?
A long, 10 mile adventure race sounds like torture! Fun torture, but... you know what I mean.
Looks like a good list and way to sneek that marathon in :-). Careful with the mountain biking. You run the risk of becoming horribly addicted to it. It's one of my favorite things to do by far. Hope you have a great year!
@ Jim -- yoga... do it do it do it! :)
@ Katie -- Seattle in June. And yes, a 10 mile adventure race sounds ridiculous, which is kinda why I want to do one!
@ Mike -- I knew you'd comment on the mountain biking! I love the pics you post, and it seems like it would be fun. Hard, but fun.
I hope you manage to meet all of your goals. Mountain biking is a lot of fun, totally different from road biking (stay alert). I want to try yoga and also join aym.
Mountain biking is a blast!!!! Def try it!!!
Indoor tris are so much easier then outdoor ones, totally different feel, everyone gets a 10 mins transition sounds weird to me
