- Not only does swimming make me ridiculously hungry, but it also makes me pee like a racehorse for several hours. Any idea why? Does being submerged in water release some primal urge to urinate??
- Is it possible that after one swimming clinic, my swimming has already improved? Or am I imagining things?
- Daylight Savings Time rocks. Speedwork on the track tonight!
- I do not need a sandwich. Thank you anyway.
- I still hate my stainless steel water bottles (she says after yet again spilling water on herself while trying to drink out of one).
- Venus is in retrograde this month. Whatever that means. :) (Actually, a friend sent me a very informative and enlightening email that explains what it means... and it's scarily accurate.)
- I need to earn more money. I don't know how (legally), but I need to. And soon.
- I like my darker hair. It suits me.

When I used to swim a lot I was always famished after. I think I had to pee too, funny. I need more loot too. I totally miss you and need a Shaggy fix. :(
Heather, I miss you so much too!!!! :( :( :(
I heard from someone that during swimming, especially when the water is below body temperature, your body core draws in fluid to keep the insides warm, something like that layer of water keeping you warm inside a wetsuit. Once you're done, the water's got to go somewhere, and there you go.
I have no idea if that's entirely correct or not, but it sounds like a good explanation to me
I'm the opposite when I swim. I don't have to go.
And yes, it is possible to be better after one coached session. I need me some of that!
But what do I know about swimming...I have the sinking part down like no other!
